BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION IS THE 1st STEP TO BUILD YOUR LIFE
‘You must build… according to the pattern I will
show you’ Exodus 25:9 NLT
Today’s Insight
If you want to build
tall, you need to go deep. The most important part of any building is what you
don’t see, the foundations under the surface. That’s why whatever you’re trying
to build – a marriage, a family, a church/ministry, or your own walk with God –
strong foundation is vital.
When he was the leader of
God’s people, Moses spent over a month waiting in God’s presence for direction:
‘Then Moses disappeared into the cloud as he climbed higher up the mountain. He
remained on the mountain forty days and forty nights’ (Exodus 24:17-18 NLT).
Why? Because he knew that what he was building had to meet the needs of God’s
people for generations. God told Moses to go to Him for the plan, and he
obeyed. This was more than just checking in with God and then toddling off to
get on with his plan – God was the center stone, the beginning and end, the
Source of it all.
It’s the same for us. His
promise is, ‘If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God…and it will be given
to him’ (James 1:5 NIV).
Want to build a solid, strong life? God knows what’s up ahead for you, and He
knows how to guide you.
Application:
Focus on one thing you want to build in your life –
an amazing marriage, maybe, or your dream career. Maybe it’s as fundamental as
you being a strong man/woman of God. Ask Him: am I laying the right foundations
at the moment? If not, what do I need to change?
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, Thank you for your Word today.
Lord thank you for this wisdom as you have said in your Word “Upon this rock I
will build my Church even the gates of hell shall not prevail. Lord thank you for
chosen us as your Church build and routed by the Bible which is your Word. Lord
thank you, your Word develops our faith like a solid rock to depend on. Your
Word is perfect and truth and makes us a simple & wise. Lord thank you that
your Word is our Strong Foundation and if we continue to trust and obey your
Word nothing can stop not to be bless because your Word is representing Yourself
as you have said that your Word will not return to you empty or avoid but it will
accomplish purposely to what you have designed for your glory In Jesus’ Name.

Prayer for Salvation
Lord
I admit I am a sinner I repent of all my sins and I receive you into my heart
as my personal Lord and Savior Amen. If you mean that prayer above from the
bottom of your heart you are now saved. It is God’s Word promise in John 3:16
that if you trust His Son Jesus you will not die but you will have Eternal
Life. Welcome to the family of God. In order to grow in your faith with God
please do these consistently starting today; 1. Pray always 2. Read your Bible
Daily 3. Attend Church Services Regularly 4. Attend Prayer Meeting, Bible
Study, Church Seminars and make God first place in your life with your talents
and finances 5. Lastly, witness Jesus to others that they may receive Eternal
Life also.
