Prepare always for the Enemy’s Attack (Part-4)
‘…What saith my Lord unto his servant?’ Joshua 5:14
Today’s Insight
Some issues are so crucial that until you have resolved them you cannot move forward or enjoy God’s blessing in your life. Joshua faced such an issue when he stood before the towering walls of Jericho, the strongest city in the Promised Land and the first that had to be conquered. We read: ‘…When Joshua was by Jericho…he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, there stood a man…with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua…said unto him, “Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?” And he said, “Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, “What saith my lord unto his servant?” And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, “Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy.” And Joshua did so’ (vv. 13-15 KJV).
So, what is your Jericho? What’s the one big battle you must win in order to fulfill what God has planned for your life? Some battles can only be won on your knees. Before His victory at the cross, Christ, Who is our example, spent His hardest night in Gethsemane praying, ‘…Not my will, but Thine, be done’ (Luke 22:42 KJV). Are you intimidated by the size of the challenge? Do you think you don’t have what it takes? Does it feel like you have been going round in circles and getting nowhere? Take time out. Get alone with God, and stay in His presence until He gives you His plan. Then say yes to it, and He will empower you.

Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for your Word today. Lord, I come before you with a humble heart. Lord thank you for giving me wisdom to really seek you Lord and be alone with you. Lord strengthens me and has courage to surrender any precious things in my life that I may walk blameless in your sight. Lord empowers me to trust alone with you whenever I face any enemies for every battle I must stand strong in my faith because I believe that you will send someone to support and lead me into victory for your glory. In Jesus Name, Amen!
Prayer for Salvation
Lord I admit I am a sinner I repent of all my sins and I receive you into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior Amen. If you mean that prayer above from the bottom of your heart you are now saved. It is God’s Word promise in John 3:16 that if you trust His Son Jesus you will not die but you will have Eternal Life. Welcome to the family of God. In order to grow in your faith with God please do these consistently starting today; 1. Pray always 2. Read your Bible Daily 3. Attend Church Services Regularly 4. Attend Prayer Meeting, Bible Study, Church Seminars and make God first place in your life with your talents and finances 5. Lastly, witness Jesus to others that they may receive Eternal Life also.
