SHARING IS CARING (Part-2)

Today’s Insight
Jerusalem two thousand years ago was no stranger to infection. Leprosy was highly infectious. In order to prevent the disease spreading, the community created certain rules: lepers were ordered to wear a sign, ring a bell (like a cow - yeah, just a bit demeaning), keep their distance. This way, they thought, the threat of catching and passing on the illness could be contained.
Jerusalem two thousand years ago also knew the dangers of moral corruption. Or teachings from another faith. Or other people’s world views. Avoid mixing with non-Jewish types. Don’t eat with a tax collector. Don’t trade ideas with a Roman. Avoid the sinner (like you would a leper).
This way a good Jewish boy could remain a good Jewish boy.
And then Jesus came. He broke bread with tax collectors. He hung about with prostitutes. He touched lepers. Actually touched them. He seemed to be a law unto himself. Jesus hung out with the outcasts. Instead of being infected himself; He infected others. He infected the forgotten with dignity and humanity. He infected screw-ups with second chances. He infected sinful people with the holiness germ. Who are the forgotten in your circles?
Who are the urban lepers?
What now?
For every time you hear someone sneeze today, try to (naturally) share something about God or your faith in your conversation (try not to get sneezed on though... wrong kind of infection).

Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for your Word today. Lord, I come before you with a humble heart. Lord I thank you for your Word which give me insight and saved me because somebody had shared and sacrifice his time and efforts to me so that I be reached and saved by God. Lord thank you for those wonderful people who sacrifice their life in order to reach me and others to receive salvation through Christ. Lord thank you that you give me understanding of your Word and insight to apply in my life and Lord I want to use also my life to evangelize others and share your love to them so that they will receive eternal life for your glory. In Jesus Name, Amen!
Prayer for Salvation
Lord I admit I am a sinner I repent of all my sins and I receive you into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior Amen. If you mean that prayer above from the bottom of your heart you are now saved. It is God’s Word promise in John 3:16 that if you trust His Son Jesus you will not die but you will have Eternal Life. Welcome to the family of God. In order to grow in your faith with God please do these consistently starting today; 1. Pray always 2. Read your Bible Daily 3. Attend Church Services Regularly 4. Attend Prayer Meeting, Bible Study, Church Seminars and make God first place in your life with your talents and finances 5. Lastly, witness Jesus to others that they may receive Eternal Life also.
