THERE YOU ARE!

‘… I will give you people for your life’ Isaiah 43:4 NKJ

Today’s Insight

In the movie Hook, Peter Pan has grown up and gotten pudgy. In Never-Never Land nobody recognizes him anymore. A slanging match ensues as all the boys shout, ‘This is not Peter Pan!’ Amidst all the noise, a young, blind boy takes Peter by the hand and pulls him down to his level. Placing his tiny hands on Peter’s face, he touches the skin on his face and for a second glimpses the boy he once knew. ‘There you are, Peter!’ he says. For a moment, the years of worry are gone. And Peter Pan is found once again.

Does that strike a note with you? Perhaps you’re not that old or overweight but you’re not the person people once knew. Maybe there was a time when you couldn’t keep quiet about your faith, but now nobody knows you’re even a Christian. Maybe you used to love being there for people but now you’re far too busy with your own issues. Maybe you used to have a spring in your step but nowadays you walk tired, bogged down with life’s worries. If this is you, God wants to take your face in His hands and say to you, ‘There you are!’ Draw close and He’ll pull back the stresses from your life. Check in with God and you’ll be able to look in the mirror again saying, ‘There you are!’

So what now? Read Isaiah 43:17 (NASB).

17 Who brings forth the chariot and the horse,

The army and the mighty man

(They will lie down together and not rise again;

They have been quenched and extinguished like a wick):

Now read it again. This time insert your name wherever the word ‘you’ is used. Believe that God is personally talking about you.

Today’s Prayer

Heavenly Father thank you for your Word today. Lord, I come before you with a humble heart. Lord I thank you for sharing your gentle Spirit with me. Lord give me patience and self-control in my life so that whatever others teasing about me will not prevail. Thank you that every time I encounter problems you send other person to help me and to fill the gap which I did not able to perform. Lord thank you that you work perfectly in my life and you were able to send support to meet my needs to use in the ministry that you want me to perform for your glory. In Jesus Name, Amen!

Prayer for Salvation

Lord I admit I am a sinner I repent of all my sins and I receive you into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior Amen. If you mean that prayer above from the bottom of your heart you are now saved. It is God’s Word promise in John 3:16 that if you trust His Son Jesus you will not die but you will have Eternal Life. Welcome to the family of God. In order to grow in your faith with God please do these consistently starting today; 1. Pray always 2. Read your Bible Daily 3. Attend Church Services Regularly 4. Attend Prayer Meeting, Bible Study, Church Seminars and make God first place in your life with your talents and finances 5. Lastly, witness Jesus to others that they may receive Eternal Life also.
