BRING THEM WITH THEIR BURDEN TO JESUS
“If two of you agree…it will be done.” Mt 18:19 NKJV
Today’s Insight
They came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic…‘arise, take up your bed’” (Mk 2:3-11 NKJV). We learn from this man’s story that some people are incapable of getting to Jesus on their own; their condition makes it impossible. Notice three important things here:
(1) It took four people with faith to do it. Spiritual synergy works miracles, so look for some prayer partners to stand with you. Jesus said, “If two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”
(2) They refused to let the crowd stop them. The crowd had its own agenda. Some were curious, some were critical, and some were sincere seekers. In order to bring your loved one to Jesus, you’ll have to overcome anything and anybody who stands in your way.
(3) They “raised the roof.” Stand on God’s promises, lift your voice in prayer, “raise the roof” if you have to, but don’t give up.
Application
Jesus didn’t disappoint them, and He won’t disappoint you either. It’s hard to pick up the weight of another person, but if you hold up your end of the deal God will hold up His. Don’t give in to weariness or discouragement. Don’t stop until you get them to Jesus.
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, Thank you for your Word today. Lord thank you for healing those who were paralyze and solve their problems and burden in their life. Lord you are amazing God because you heal everyone who has faith in you and come before you and you did not discourage us Lord even we failed so many times but we recommit our lives to serve you and we trust still you o Lord that you can continue to love us and have power to change us. Lord uses me as your empty vessels to bless others for your glory In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
Prayer for Salvation
Lord I admit I am a sinner I repent of all my sins and I receive you into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior Amen. If you mean that prayer above from the bottom of your heart you are now saved. It is God’s Word promise in John 3:16 that if you trust His Son Jesus you will not die but you will have Eternal Life. Welcome to the family of God. In order to grow in your faith with God please do these consistently starting today; 1. Pray always 2. Read your Bible Daily 3. Attend Church Services Regularly 4. Attend Prayer Meeting, Bible Study, Church Seminars and make God first place in your life with your talents and finances 5. Lastly, witness Jesus to others that they may receive Eternal Life also.
