Instead of Worrying, Trust God
‘…Let him…rely upon his God.’ Isaiah 50:10
Today’s Insight
One morning a man received four long-distance calls before he could even get out of bed. Everybody had problems they wanted solved ‘right now’. He told his wife to forget about breakfast, only to discover his car wouldn’t start. So he called a taxi. When he got in the taxi he yelled, ‘Let’s go!’ The driver asked, ‘Where do you want me to take you?’ He shouted, ‘I don’t care, I’ve got problems everywhere!’ Do you feel like that today? Have you done all you know to do, but the situation hasn’t improved? ‘Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of his Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely upon his God.’ Note the word ‘name.’ God values His good name because it represents His power, His character and His faithfulness. So when you pray for anything in His name, you’re trusting His power, His character and His faithfulness. It’s like standing on a rock! We spend so much of our lives worrying about yesterday and tomorrow, yet one is buried and the other’s unborn. There’s not a thing we can do about either—except let them steal today right out of our hands. The Psalmist said, ‘This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it’ (Psalms 118:24 NKJV). So seize this day with its blessings and challenges and live every moment of it. Don’t long for ‘someday’. ‘God is…a very present help…’ (Psalms 46:1 NKJV). Just hand your worries to Him and let Him take care of them for you.

Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for your Word today. Lord, I come before you with a humble heart. Lord I thank you for your goodness to us and for teaching that we must take care our life more than our work. Lord thank you that your relationship to us is so strong and that we are to be careful with our relationship to others than destroying them with our money and wicked acts in order to take advantage with them. Lord teach me to always walk in for your glory. In Jesus Name, Amen!
Prayer for Salvation
Lord I admit I am a sinner I repent of all my sins and I receive you into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior Amen. If you mean that prayer above from the bottom of your heart you are now saved. It is God’s Word promise in John 3:16 that if you trust His Son Jesus you will not die but you will have Eternal Life. Welcome to the family of God. In order to grow in your faith with God please do these consistently starting today; 1. Pray always 2. Read your Bible Daily 3. Attend Church Services Regularly 4. Attend Prayer Meeting, Bible Study, Church Seminars and make God first place in your life with your talents and finances 5. Lastly, witness Jesus to others that they may receive Eternal Life also.
