MEETING WITH GOD
‘…I saw the Lord sitting on a throne…’ Isaiah 6:1 NKJV
Today’s Insight
Isaiah describes a life-changing encounter he had
with God at the start of his ministry: ‘…I saw the Lord sitting on a throne,
high and lifted up…Above it stood seraphim…And one cried to another and said:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!”
And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of Him who cried out, and
the house was filled with smoke.
So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I
am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;
for my eyes have seen the King”…Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in
his hand a live coal…from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said:
“Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin
purged.” Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and
who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” And He said, “Go, and
tell this people”…’ (Isaiah 6:1-9 NKJV).
Meeting with God always
brings three things:
(1) A sense of His holiness and our lowliness.
(2) An acknowledgment of our inadequacy.
(3) Humility, and a hunger for more of Him.
The wear and tear of daily life dulls the sharp
edge of our spiritual sensibilities. And measuring our holiness by those around
us just lulls us into thinking we’re living a committed life when we’re not. So
God calls us to meet Him to cleanse us, empower us, and send us out to fulfil
His purposes.

Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for your Word today.
Lord thank you for letting me to meet or encounter you. Lord thank you for
giving me a change to repent and be your servant. Lord thank you for giving me
another chance in my life in order to change or renew my life that I may walk
blameless. You are an awesome God and you are Love. Your understanding and faithfulness
can’t be measured by our human thinking because your love is unconditional.
Lord teaches me to meet always with you every morning and allow me to encounter
you so that I can pray with you intimately for your glory In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
Prayer for Salvation
Lord
I admit I am a sinner I repent of all my sins and I receive you into my heart
as my personal Lord and Savior Amen. If you mean that prayer above from the
bottom of your heart you are now saved. It is God’s Word promise in John 3:16
that if you trust His Son Jesus you will not die but you will have Eternal
Life. Welcome to the family of God. In order to grow in your faith with God
please do these consistently starting today; 1. Pray always 2. Read your Bible
Daily 3. Attend Church Services Regularly 4. Attend Prayer Meeting, Bible Study,
Church Seminars and make God first place in your life with your talents and
finances 5. Lastly, witness Jesus to others that they may receive Eternal Life
also.
