Message: ALL IS VANITY AND STRIVING AFTER THE WIND

This is the Word of God inspired to write by a former King of Israel who was King Solomon, a son of King David. Let's look what God says;

"13 And I applied my heart to seek and to search out by wisdom all that is done under heaven. It is an unhappy business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. 14 I have seen everything that is done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and a striving after wind." - Ecclesiastes 1:13-14.

Today's Insight:

VANITY OF VANITIES ...WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR WORLD NOW ? So suddenly: New York 🌆 the city that never sleeps' is now asleep 🏙 🌒 , all quiet. Paris the 'center of romance♥️' 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 lives in echoes. Rome 💒'the eternal city' is deserted. Disney 🐹 is out of magic. London is caged in silence, the Queen 👵🏻 speaks to her people from a hidden room. Mecca 🕌 is empty! Nobody to 'stone the devil'. The Chinese wall ⛩ is no longer a fortress. The Great nations are speechless 😷🙁. The developed world 🌎 suddenly on its knees. Churches🕍⛪️, great parks, monuments, stadiums 🏢 are filled with unfilled spaces. The busiest places at present were hitherto the most dreaded: hospitals and cemeteries. The famous football leagues, 🏉 the fashion shows👗👠, exotic weddings, festivals all lost to memory. Celebrities 💃🕺have run out of celebrations. Our titles, status and privileged positions are stale 🎩🎓. With all our boastful 'citizenships' we cannot step out of our houses🏚🏡. With all our savings in gold 🔔 and cash we can only buy food 🍔🍟🍕to eat and toilet papers to take care of the waste. We usually went to watch animals in cages, now animals 🦓🐅🐕 roam our empty streets, watching us in our 'cages'🏚🏘. With our expensive clothes 🧥👖and shoes👡👢, our house clothes 👚👕 and pyjamas are the latest fashion. AND despite all these 'oddities'...the world still goes on; the sun 🌝 still shines; the birds 🦅still sing 🎼 our God is still in His Throne👑. When this long night🌚 finally gets over and a new day 🌕sets in, let us not forget the lesson of the long night - that the only essential is LIFE 👨‍👩‍👧 , the rest are but dispensable prefixes and suffixes - BUSY EMPTINESS. LETS LIVE OUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST: TO BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS, AND TO PLEASE GOD OUR CREATOR.THIS WORLD IS NOT OURS. ALL IS VANITY💰👗👠👛💍...Though all are Vanities it doesn't mean that we should continue doing wicked things? Each of us are responsible of what we are doing and if we are fall short against God we are also accountable before God. I like what King Solomon, a son of King David, concluded in the Book of Ecclesiastes and all of these Vanities;

Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV): Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Prayer for Today:

Lord thank you for everything despite of Novel Corona Virus or Covid19, you are still there to protect us as you've promise in your Word that neither you'll leave us or forsake us and you promise to be us even until the end of this world. Thank you Lord for your promise and we ask you favor to be with us that we may stand agains covid-19. Give us wisdom and knowledge to understand what this covid-19 brought us. We may learn a great lessons against this covid-19. Lord cover us with precious blood that we and our family may sustain for many days of lockdown and that we will stay grateful of what  you are doing right now in our lives that we we might need to embrace the bonding, the refection and enjoy our prayer and devotion with you alone in Jesus Name. Amen! 

Prayer for Salvation:

Lord I admit I am a sinner and I confess all my sins that i have done in my life and ope heart to receive Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Lord as you have promised in His Word that if we confess all our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us all our sins and cleanse us from all our wickedness. If you mean that from the bottom of your heart you now saved. 

Welcome to the Family of God! 

To grow your faith it is necessary to do this in your Christian Life;

1. Prayer.

2. Attend Bible Study.

3. Attend Prayer Meeting.

4. Serve in the Church or look for your ministry.

5. Witness Jesus Christ to others.
