When God sends you a Warning!
“He who is often rebuked, and hardens his neck, will suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.” Pr 29:1 NKJV
Today’s Insight
In the official magazine of the Naval Institute, Frank Koch reported on a very unusual encounter at sea. A battleship was coming in for maneuvers in heavy weather. Shortly after the sun went down, the lookout reported a light in the distance, so the captain had the signalman send a message: “We’re on a collision course. Advise you change your course twenty degrees.” Minutes later a signal came back: “Advisable for you to change your course.” The captain angrily ordered that another signal be sent: “I am a captain. Change course twenty degrees.” Again came the reply: “I’m a seaman, second class. You’d better change your course.” Furious by this point, the captain barked a final threat: “I’m a battleship! Change your course!” The signal came back, “I’m a lighthouse.”
The captain changed his course! It’s foolhardy to ignore the beacons that warn you of danger. They take various forms: symptoms of health problems, prolonged marital conflict, rebellious children, excessive debt, soul-destroying habits, stress that ties you in knots. The list goes on. It matters not whether you’re successful, influential, and busy. When God sends you a warning and tells you to change course, if you’re wise you won’t argue. Instead you will do it with haste. Let’s get personal. Has God been dealing with you over something in your life that’s wrong, but you keep resisting Him? Or putting off dealing with it? Things will go right for you when you turn to Him instead of away from Him.
Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, Thank you for your Word Today. Thank you for reminding me that when there is a thing that alarm or endanger my life I must slow down Lord and obey you so that I would be safe in my decision. Lord guides me always according to your Word that I would obey and follow you even your Word is difficult to obey because of the pride and lust that is waging war against my spirit. Lord keeps me safe by your Word because I believed that your Word is a Lamp to my feet and a Guide to my path so that I would not be stumble as I walk and follow you consistently even in a difficult situations for your glory. In Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen!
Prayer for Salvation
Lord I admit I am a sinner I repent of all my sins and I receive you into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior, In Jesus Name! Amen. If you mean that prayer from the bottom of your heart you are now saved. It is God’s Word testified in John 3:16 that if you trust His Son Jesus you will not die but you will have Eternal Life. Welcome to the family of God!
In order for you to grow in your faith with God please do these consistently starting today; 1. Pray always 2. Read your Bible Daily 3. Attend Prayer Meeting, Bible Study, Church Training Seminars 4. Attend Church Services Regularly and make God first place in your life with your talents and finances 5. Lastly, witness Jesus to others that they may receive Eternal Life also.
